DRAMATIC PLAY

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Dramatic play is important for toddlers as it helps promote social, cognitive, and emotional development. Toddlers have a strong interest in the activities of the adult world and want to be a part of it. This is fulfilled through imitation and exploration of social relationships in the form of dramatic play. Dramatic play or pretend play helps build toddlers’ social, thinking, and language skills.

BLOCK PLAY

THE BENEFITS

Children can improve their motor skills, practice problem solving, and learn to work with their classmates while playing in a block learning center. Block play enables children to explore their creative side by building unique structures and communities with blocks, block people, and block animals. A block learning center will also teach children about basic engineering and architectural concepts.
